School Project. These magazine ads are meant to attract new customers. The ads are intended to demonstrate that CAT has a machine that will move anything that needs to be relocated at a minimal cost to the business.
The design here I think best represents building stability and durability which are the two leading concepts of the Caterpillar company. This block format also best appeals to the male market, it is more masculine and has a little humor in the tagline. The images show off the excavators features and ability while the body copy tells the benefits and innovations that the company has made. I used black, orange and white in various ways to help emphasize different elements of the design. I think the last one may be my favorite.
